I remember talking about it, thinking I should buy another one... This time I got something called the Ai Box, and I was curious how it would differ from the last one. It was supposed to arrive on April 1st, but it got here on the 18th instead. Somehow, I felt pretty good about it. Just like before, it uses a plug-and-play system to wirelessly display on the car screen... This time, I bought the version with built-in GPS. It turns out, it can function as its own navigation system. The thing is, the system is exactly the same. It's the same system, just with different pre-installed features, and I found the Google Play Store hidden away. It was tucked away in the app info, and from there, I could download more apps than I could with the previous one.
I got the 32GB version, so I quickly connected to Wi-Fi, downloaded music, Google Maps for offline use, and Netflix movies. After using it for a few days, I found it really convenient for watching movies, dramas, or documentaries while waiting, thanks to the larger screen compared to a phone. What really annoys me is that the performance is better... But the price was half of what I expected. I bought it on AliExpress for around 50 bucks. The system seems to be the same when I look at the screen... But similar ones on Amazon were selling for $275. Of course, those have 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, which is larger, and they support TF cards, but I wonder if I really need that speed if I'm not gaming. Maybe it's better to just buy the cheaper one, although I'm a bit concerned about its stability... The last one I bought had this weird issue where it would reboot every time I turned on the air conditioning...
